City of Murrieta Brings Community Together for Multiple Spring Events


 Murrieta, CA: Murrieta is known as the place for community, and this spring the City has plenty of opportunities  to connect, learn, remember, and celebrate. Mark your calendars and invite friends and family to join in at one  of the City of Murrieta’s upcoming events. 

  • Spring EGGstravaganza: | April 16 | 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. | Town Square Park | 11 Town Square, Murrieta, CA  92562
    • Children ages 3-10 can join in a morning of egg hunting at Murrieta’s Town Square Park. Various age  ranges have specific time windows for when they are invited to join in the egg hunt fun. 3 years: 9:30 a.m.,  4 years: 9:45 a.m., 5 years: 10:00 a.m., 6 years: 10:15 a.m., 7-8 years: 10:30 a.m., 9-10 years: 10:45 a.m. There is a designated area for those younger than 3 or with special needs. Bring a basket or bag.
  •  REC EXPO 2022: | April 16 | 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. | Town Square Park | 11 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562 
    • The Murrieta Community Services Department invites you to Rec Expo 2022! Come see the classes and  programs that the Community Services Department offers and meet the instructors. 
  • Murrieta Public Library Touch-a-Truck Storytime: | April 18 | 10:00 a.m. | Murrieta Public Library Carol Carson  Garden of Verses | 8 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562 
    • Join Murrieta Children’s Library team for this special story time featuring vehicles from our local fire,  police, and public works departments, as well as Waste Management, for an interactive event for  children of all ages. Vehicles will be located along Memorial Way between Murrieta Public Library and  Town Square Park Amphitheater. 
  • Firefighter's Barbecue: | April 23 | 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Murrieta Town Square Park and Amphitheater | 11  Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
    • Join Murrieta Fire & Rescue for this special annual barbecue event as they celebrate their 75th anniversary. There will be great food, live music, a kid’s area, vendors, a beer and wine garden, and the  always-popular Explorer’s Muster.
  • Memorial Day Observance Ceremony: | May 30 | 8:00 a.m. | Veterans Memorial |11 Town Square Park | 11  Town Square Park, Murrieta, CA 92562
    • Please join the City and esteemed speakers and guests as we remember lives lost while serving our nation.  
  •  Father's Day Car Show: | June 18 | 4 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | California Oaks Sports Park | 40600 California Oaks Rd, Murrieta, CA 92562
    • The classic Father’s Day Car Show is back. With vendors and a car competition, you don’t want to miss the fun!
