Our community recently lost Deputy Darnell Calhoun while he was on duty on January 13th, 2023. Macaroni KID Temecula-Murrieta-French Valley grieves along with our community. So many have come together to share love and support for the family Deputy Calhoun leaves behind. We'd love to share with all the members of our community where to go to honor his memory and how to help his family during this time.

The procession for Riverside Sheriff’s Department Deputy Darnell Calhoun from the coroner’s office to the mortuary in Downtown Murrieta will take place this afternoon starting at 2 p.m. This procession will drive from I-215 down Clinton Keith Road and then proceed to Nutmeg Avenue to Washington Avenue. Please expect traffic in this area during this time. The City and County appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
