How old was your child when they joined Soccer Shots?
Joey joined Soccer Shots when he was 3 until the age of 6.
What is your child’s /your favorite memory from Soccer Shots?
Joey’s favorite moments were having great coaches, the fun scrimmage games they had at the end of each practice, and getting participation medals at the end of each season. We loved that he made new friends and that he was engaging in an outdoor activity. All of the coaches that Joey had during his time at Soccer Shots are awesome. They were patient, good with the kids, and were interactive in a way that made soccer fun.
How has the program impacted them & how have the skills and lessons learned at Soccer Shots Temecula helped you?
Soccer Shots definitely had a positive impact on our son and us as a family. The program taught our son the fundamentals of soccer such as ball control, passing, and shooting. It also taught him sportsmanship skills, such as playing as a team and being respectful. For our family, the program created a family bonding moment as we would love to come out to the field each week watching him having fun with the other kids. It also showed us how our child is capable of learning and utilizing skills while building the confidence to excel.
Has your little one continued with Soccer after soccer shots?
Yes, Joey still plays soccer now (MYSL Rec) and we believe it was due to such a great introduction into the sport through Soccer Shots. We have tried other sports as well, but soccer is ultimately his favorite. We hope he continues to enjoy the game as he grows older and advances.

How old was your child when they joined Soccer Shots?
I had 2 sons go through Soccer Shots. Both of them were about 5 years old.
What is your child’s /your favorite memory from Soccer Shots?
For Ben, learning and playing against his male coach, Coach Luke, was the best memory he had.
For Zach, his fondest memories all centered around the accomplishment of scoring. And the sense of pride in getting his medal at the end of the season.
How has the program impacted them & how have the skills and lessons learned at Soccer Shots Temecula helped you?
Soccer shots took the competitiveness out of the equation and taught them skills and structure. They both gained a tremendous amount of self confidence while they were there.
Has your little one continued with Soccer after soccer shots?
They have both continued on in soccer. They both were successful in their recreation leagues. Ben earned an All Star spot this last winter and Zach is doing well with his club team, Temecula Surf.

How old was your child when they joined Soccer Shots?
Xander started at age 2.
What is your child’s /your favorite memory from Soccer Shots?
Seeing him score his first goal was one of our favorite memories. He was hesitant in the beginning of the season and did not want to participate on his own. One week he went up all by himself to score a goal and it was such a big accomplishment for him. Loved seeing his confidence grow throughout the season and become more comfortable with the coach and the other kids.
How has the program impacted them & how have the skills and lessons learned at Soccer Shots Temecula helped you?
As mentioned previously, it was such an awesome experience to see him grow in confidence throughout the season. He just loves soccer shots and talked about it all week until it was finally soccer shots day. Their favorite skill was probably big kicks, they just love knocking down the cones during their games.
Has your little one continued with Soccer after soccer shots?
Yes, we have done almost 6 seasons with soccer shots. He is currently in Classics and will move to the oldest age group in the fall.
