Since 2008 the California School of English in Temecula has been receiving international school and sports groups from Asia and Europe for short-term programs (1 to 3 weeks)! Hosting international exchange students is an enriching and unforgettable cultural experience that often leads to lifelong friendships!
Details:
- Students attend morning English classes followed by afternoon activities and excursions
- Students visiting are 12-17 years old, well-behaved, and excited about their first trip to America!
- Students have all immunizations
- Host families provide comfortable sleeping arrangements, meals, transport to/from school (carpooling sometimes available), and American hospitality
- Host families receive compensation
Japanese youth baseball and basketball players (March 27 - April 3) Boys are aged 12 - 15 yrs old with basic English skills Japanese boys are very respectful and well-behaved Boys are placed in pairs or threes with host families Host families receive $250 per student |
Students from the German School of Budapest in Hungary (April 5 - 15) Students are 10th and 11th graders and all speak English, German, and Hungarian Group includes male and female German and Hungarian students Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe Host families host one or two students and receive $350 per student |
