We happen to have a high school senior in our family and she was already looking for someone to do her Senior photos as she prepares to send out photos to family and friends to celebrate this momentous occasion of graduating from High School.
As soon as we scheduled a photo shoot with Jen Nicole, you could tell this photography experience was going to be different. Jen Nicole sends a questionnaire to your email once you let her know you want to book a photo session with her. She asks you (or whoever will be the subject of the photo shoot) your likes and dislikes, what kinds of photos you like to take and what kinds of poses you are comfortable with or uncomfortable with. She asks if you'd like music during your photo session. She also has a lot of suggestions for photo locations to help inspire you but is open to your own ideas too 😉.
I had a few places in mind (South Coast Winery, Lake Skinner or Arbor Glen Park in Murrieta) and let my daughter make the final decision and Jen was great with giving us input on locations she's done photos at in the past and her thoughts on some of the locations we had in mind. We loved the option we wound up choosing (Lake Skinner). Just note that if you don't finish photographing before sunset, you may just be camping there overnight since they lock the gate at sunset and don't open it again until sunrise. We cut it close but we got all of these awesome photos during that "golden hour" and got out of there before the gate closed.
We were able to have 3 outfit changes during the photo session and Jen even gave us some ideas for outfits or props we could bring. My daughter decided on just a dress for her first outfit, adding her jacket and graduation cap to her dress for her second outfit and then changing to jeans and a top for her third. She has a class ring and I made her a Senior sash which she also added to her outfits which Jen made sure to incorporate into our photos. She also brought glitter which was such a fun prop and made for an adorable photo. You may want to keep in mind when choosing outfits that you will probably be changing in your car unless you're taking photos somewhere that has a bathroom nearby. You definitely don't want to mess up your makeup or hair in the process of changing.

We only had to wait a week or two to get the edited photos sent to us and they are absolutely gorgeous! There were so many options to choose from and it was definitely hard to narrow it down but we did narrow it down to 20 photos although we may still pick out a couple more 😉. We decided to share a few them with you all here.
