September is National Emergency Preparedness Month! Join us at the National Preparedness Fair on SAT, SEP 9, 2023 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Temecula Civic Center Quad (41000 Main Street). 

Celebrate the month at this family-friendly event where you can meet local disaster service workers, learn about emergency preparation, enjoy free children's activities, and more.

SEPTEMBER 11TH REMEMBRANCE - MON, SEP 11, 2023

Join us for an evening of reflection on the anniversary of September 11th as we honor those who gave their lives to serve and protect on MON, SEP 11, 2023 starting at 6:00 pm the Temecula Duck Pond(28250 Ynez Road).

TEMECULA ARTFEST - FRI, SEP 15 & SAT, SEP 16, 2023

The City of Temecula will host the 2023 Temecula ArtFest featuring Cartoon-A Paloozah! Formerly called the Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival, this fan-favorite event will be held on FRI, SEP 15, 2023, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and SAT, SEP 16, 2023, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, located at Town Square (41902 Main Street) and surrounding event areas in Old Town Temecula.

Paintings, woodworking, ceramics, jewelry, and photography set the stage for a weekend of creativity and talent at Temecula’s ArtFest. Enjoy the large outdoor art exhibition, while the kids enjoy the free fun zone activities! The festival will once again feature Cartoon-A Paloozah!Temecula’s own Mini Con. Fans of Anime, Cartooning & Comics can come together to represent and support their favorite fandoms. Cartoon-A Paloozah! will include indoor art vendors, fandom meet-ups, and art & cosplay contests.

COLLEGE & VOCATIONAL FAIR - SAT, SEP 23, 2023

Join us at the 15th annual Temecula Valley College & Vocational Invitational on SAT, SEP 23, 2023 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at The Promenade Mall (40820 Winchester Road).

This event provides the opportunity for students to speak with representatives from over 300 California-based and out-of-state colleges, universities, vocational schools, and military institutions.

F.I.T. FUN COLOR RUN - SUN, SEP 24, 2023

Join us for the annual F.I.T. Fun Color Run on SUN, SEP 24, 2023 at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park (30875 Rancho Vista Road). Participate in the Valley's most FUN RUN with music and color stations throughout the course. We will have vendors on site, a D.J., and bounce houses.

The Kid's Obstacle Course will end with an exciting color toss. For the Fun Run, you can pick either the 8:00 am (Adult/Teen Run) or 8:15 am (Family Fun Run) start time. The Kid's Obstacle Course will begin at 9:45 am. Fee includes an event t-shirt, finisher medal, goodie bag, refreshments, and entertainment.

ART NIGHTS - FRI, SEP 1, 2023

The City of Temecula hosts a monthly outdoor Temecula Art Nights event from on FRI, SEP 1, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm showcasing art from a variety of artists exhibiting in multi-genre forms. This event also provides a reception for the featured artists inside The Merc and The Lot on Main (42051 Main Street) with live music and refreshments.

The Gallery at The Merc will feature multi-media art by artist Dorland Mountain Arts Colony.

TEMECULA CULTURE DAYS - SAT, SEP 9, 2023

Join us for Temecula Culture Days and celebrate culture! On the second Saturday of each month, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, we will celebrate a different culture.

Come join us on SAT, SEP 9, 2023 at the Temecula Valley Museum (28314 Mercedes Street) as we celebrate the history and heritage of the Philippines with live entertainment from Samahan Performing Arts, authentic cuisine, a free art session with instructors from Bigfoot Art Classes, and more!

PAINT IN THE PARK - SAT, SEP 23, 2023

A special museum event, Paint in the Park, will be held on SAT, SEP 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Learn the joys and frustrations of painting outside with Barbara Nelson, multi-time winner of the City of Temecula’s annual Ralph Love Plein Air Contest. The class is free, and materials will be provided (Ages 12+).

RALPH LOVE PLEIN AIR Art Exhibition & Art Reception - AUG 18 - OCT 29, 2023

View Temecula through the eyes of the 16th Annual Ralph Love Plein Air Competition participants. The paintings will showcase the beautiful landscapes of Temecula painted by local artists, including Temecula youth. A special museum reception will be held on FRI, SEP 22, 2023, at 5:30 pm.

EMERGING ARTIST MURAL California Admission Day - SEP - OCT 2023

The Temecula Valley Museum recognizes California Admission Day on SEP 9th. This mural was created by local emerging artists Charlie Lively who attends Art Center College of Design. This mural will be on display until the end of October. The Emerging Artist Mural Project seeks to support local artists by providing a space to showcase their craft. Every other month either emerging or student artists are given the opportunity to paint a mural on varying topics. Visit the Art & Education Room inside the Temecula Valley Museum for information and crafts.

TEEN ZONE NOW OPEN

The Teen Zone is a safe and fun place for teens to beat the heat and hang out with friends! There are a variety of fun and exciting daily activities for 6th through 12th graders to enjoy including video games, board games, air hockey, movies, ping pong, crafts and more! Annual Memberships are only $1!

YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL (YAC) - SEP 6, 2023 - JUN 5, 2024

Are you a high school student that would like to directly impact the community through outreach and service efforts, while attaining your community service hours? Then join the Youth Advisory Council (YAC)! The Youth Advisory Council starts WED, SEP 6, 2023, and meets every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Temecula Community Center (28816 Pujol Street).

The Youth Advisory Council focuses on youth leadership, service learning, volunteerism and education achievement for all. If you are a Temecula High School student that would like to directly impact the community though outreach and service efforts while earning community service hours, then this program is for you!

INCLUSIVE SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM - SAT, SEP 9, 2023

Please join us for social skills fun at the Temecula Eagle Soar Playground & Splash Pad with the Inclusive Social Skills Program. Activities for families and children with disabilities are at the Michael "Mike" Naggar Community Park (29119 Margarita Road), on SAT, SEP 9, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Activities will be provided by the disABILITY Sports Foundation. Therapists are welcome and parent or caregiver participation is required. Registration will be on-site the day of the event.

ODC Dance is coming to Temecula! Join ODC Dance for a wonderful show on SAT, SEP 23, 2023, starting at 8:00 pm at the Temecula Theater (42051 Main Street).

The ODC/Dance Company is widely recognized for its rigorous technique and numerous groundbreaking collaborations. Comprised of ten world-class dancers, the company performs its imaginative repertory for more than 50,000 people annually. Two annual home seasons in San Francisco include Dance Downtown and the holiday production, The Velveteen Rabbit. Recent highlights include appearances at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Next Wave Festival in New York, MODAFE Festival in Seoul, Korea, Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley, and past standing-room-only engagements in Europe, Russia, and Asia. Founded in 1971 by Artistic Director Brenda Way, ODC is known nationally for entrepreneurial savvy and being the first modern dance company in the United States to own its home facility, the ODC Theater. In 2005, ODC expanded its campus to include the ODC Dance Commons, which houses ODC/Dance, ODC School, a Pilates Studio, and a Healthy Dancers’ Clinic.
