The Big Horse Corn Maze and Fall Festival in south Temecula is an annual fall bucket-list visit, according to many families whose kids have grown up running its trails. Eager youngsters grab tall flags and navigate through the intricate turns and twists of the elaborate maze. Sometimes, they make it. Sometimes, they get lost and need help getting out. Regardless, those memories last a lifetime.

However, in 2022, the Big Horse Corn Maze was forced to cancel due to heat and drought that stunted the corn's growth and left the plants "about hip high," according to Corona. The maze also closed in 2020 during the pandemic.

With record rains in the valley over the growing season in 2023 there was no chance of closure. The corn stalks have grown tall for this year's patriotic-themed maze.

Larger groups, like scout troops and schools, should make advanced reservations, but families can drop in and visit any time during the fall.

What is there to do at the Harvest Festival?

Inside, you'll find bounce houses, giant slides, obstacle courses, bungee rides and a pumpkin patch. Look for your perfect pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, pumpkin accessories, snacks, beverages and more.
