The 2024 dates for the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival were announced Thursday, and "exclusive" tickets are currently on sale.

The three-day festival will run May 17-19 at its traditional location, Lake Skinner Regional Park/Recreation Area, 37701 Warren Road in Winchester.

The 2024 event marks the festival's 41st anniversary. Initially launched in 1983, the fest is a staple event in the Temecula Valley, drawing over 38,000 local residents, music enthusiasts, and visitors from around the world. The event is a significant contributor to the nearly $1 billion in travel spending that now flows through the Temecula Valley annually.

Scott Soares Sr., president of the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival board, promises this year's festival is gearing up for an extraordinary three-day experience.

"We're taking this festival to new heights as we celebrate our 41st Anniversary," he said. "The Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival is not just your neighborhood festival; it's a significant event, and our plans for this year will create a buzz for years to come."

The festival's concert lineup won't be unveiled until the end of next month, but music is a big draw at the event. Dozens of top-name performers headlined the 2022 festival, including Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, REO Speedwagon, Night Ranger, Scotty McCreery, English Beat, and many others.

In addition to concerts, the festival offers cuisine, over 100 vendors, wine and beer tasting, and, of course, hot air balloons and rides.

"Exclusive Festival Experience" tickets are currently on sale "and represent the highest-level VIP and camping package available," according to event organizers. Go to www.tvbwf.com for information.

"General Camping" tickets, which organizers say sell out "in minutes," go on sale on Oct. 25.

"Stay tuned for further updates on ticket sales, as VIP and GA tickets will be available for purchase later this fall," organizers said.

Patrons are encouraged to sign up for the email list on the festival's website at www.tvbwf.com to receive information and ensure they have the latest ticket updates.
