As a mom of two, I recently embarked on a magical journey with my son during the opening weekend of Inland Pacific Ballet’s breathtaking production of *The Nutcracker* at the enchanting Lewis Family Playhouse. This experience unfolded as a delightful family tradition in the making, promising to be a cherished moment for years to come.

From the moment the curtain rose, the talent on display was nothing short of incredible. The dancers, including the remarkable youth cast, brought the classic tale to life with finesse and grace, captivating both young and old. As a mom, witnessing the joy in my son's eyes was priceless, making it clear that we stumbled upon a tradition that would leave a lasting impression.

The Lewis Family Playhouse provided a beautiful atmosphere, complementing the enchanting story unfolding on stage. The sets were meticulously crafted, the costumes dazzling, and Tchaikovsky's timeless score resonated in the air, creating an immersive experience that transcended the ordinary. The attention to detail, from the toy soldiers to the life-sized dancing dolls, transported us to a world of wonder.

What truly set this performance apart was the inclusion of special effects that added an extra layer of magic to the production. The falling snow, the dream sequence with battling mice, and the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy with waltzing flowers and gingerbread characters all contributed to a sensory feast that left us in awe.

I was particularly moved by the dedication of the dancers, both professional and youth, who hailed from communities near and far. Their commitment to the art of ballet was evident in every perfectly executed move, making the performance a testament to the cultural gem that is Inland Pacific Ballet.

As we left the theater, my son and I couldn't help but talk about making this an annual tradition. The Nutcracker at the Lewis Family Playhouse has become more than a show; it's a shared experience, a bond between a mom and her son, creating memories that will undoubtedly become a cherished part of our holiday season.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Inland Pacific Ballet for hosting us and providing our community with such a spectacular production. For parents in the Temecula, Murrieta, French Valley, Menifee area, I highly recommend making *The Nutcracker* a part of your family's holiday traditions. It's a magical journey that will leave you, like us, eager for the holiday season to roll around each year.
