Do You Need Sand Bags? Temecula is expected to experience continuous rain over the next week. Visit your nearest Temecula Fire Station between the hours of 8am - 7pm to pick up free empty sandbags (limit of 10 per resident). Then head over to the City-owned lot at the corner of Ynez and Santiago to fill them with sand. Don't forget to bring a shovel! |
New Pipes are being Installed through July 2024 Eastern Municipal Water District is replacing pipes along Diaz Road and Rancho Way. One northbound lane is closed along Diaz from Rancho California to Rancho Way. (One lane will remain open.) Full closure of the bike trail along Diaz Road, south of Rancho Way. Look for closure and detour signs.

New Bridge Construction on I-15! - February 2024 (Temporary Full Closure of the Santa Gertrudis Pedestrian/Bike Trail) The Santa Gertrudis Pedestrian/Bike Trail is closed between Ynez and Jefferson to allow for new bridge construction along Interstate 15 for the French Valley Parkway Phase 2 project currently under construction. This temporary full closure is scheduled through February. Interstate 15 Auxiliary Lane Construction The City is breaking ground in February on construction of a new Northbound I-15 (auxiliary) lane from Temecula Parkway to Rancho California Road. The project is another significant step to alleviate traffic congestion along Northbound I-15. |
