March is already proving to be an EGG-citing month for Murrieta! As the days get longer, we're thrilled to share updates on our Trails and Parks and Recreation Master Plans. Your input matters, so join us in workshops and help shape the future of Murrieta's outdoor spaces. In this edition, explore Restaurant Month, hazardous waste disposal, and mark your calendars for the annual EGGstravaganza! We're connected by community, and we look forward to a vibrant March.




Community Services Department Updates



Master Plan Public Workshops

The City is updating its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, last revised in 2009, and embarking on its first Trails Master Plan. These plans shape the future of Murrieta's land use, parks, amenities, infrastructure, services, and events. Join us in-person for workshops to contribute your insights.

Dispose of household hazardous waste responsibly on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, 92562. Visit www.rcwaste.org for details on acceptable materials.

Spring EGGstravaganza and Recreation Expo



Join us on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Town Square Park for an EGG hunt and Recreation Expo. Over 10,000 eggs for kids to find, followed by treats from food vendors. Don't forget your basket!

Firefighter’s BBQ - April 13, 2024

Murrieta Fire & Rescue hosts its 77th annual Firefighter’s BBQ at Murrieta’s Town Square Park. Enjoy a smoked tri-tip lunch, music, a beer and wine garden, a bag-toss tournament, and more. Free event with a fee for lunch.




Celebrate Riverside County Arts and Culture Month
