Murrieta’s path forward takes center stage at the 33rd Annual State of the City Address, hosted by the City of Murrieta and the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Mayor Lori Stone will address the community at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort Conference Center at 7 p.m. Her speech, themed "Planning Today for a Successful Tomorrow," promises to engage the public in the city's vibrant trajectory toward growth and prosperity.
This cornerstone event marks a significant occasion for civic participation, offering residents the chance to witness first-hand the strategic planning that will carry Murrieta into a promising future. Admission to the address is free, affirming the city's commitment to inclusive dialogue and community involvement.
Mayor Stone expressed her enthusiasm for the city’s progress, stating, “Murrieta is growing, we are a thriving city and have so much to share. I hope that attendees will leave feeling informed and excited about Murrieta’s future.”
Before the main address, a VIP reception will offer a taste of local culture and the opportunity for community members to network with peers and local dignitaries. This reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with tickets priced at $60 per person, providing an intimate platform for discussions with key policymakers.
