This new addition will occupy an area ranging from 750 to 2,500 square feet and is designed to cater to all your baby needs, from gear and apparel to toys, bath supplies, and furniture.
The introduction of Babies R Us is part of a larger rollout, with Kohl's planning to open similar shops in about 200 of its stores nationwide this year. The Murrieta location is one of four stores in Riverside County that will feature this new shop, alongside others in Beaumont, La Quinta, and Menifee.
This collaboration marks a significant expansion in the baby products category for Kohl's, enhancing their existing range with an even broader selection. These new offerings will also be available online at Kohls.com. Additionally, Kohl's will exclusively host the Babies R Us gift registry, making it even easier for local families to find everything they need for their little ones in one convenient spot.
The return of the Babies R Us brand is a part of its revival by WHP Global, which acquired the brand in 2021 after the closure of all stores in 2018 due to the bankruptcy of its parent company, Toys R Us.
