The City of Murrieta is excited to announce the annual Murrieta Birthday Bash, set to take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024. This year's festivities promise to be bigger and better than ever, with a day full of fun activities, live performances, delicious food, and a spectacular fireworks display to cap off the night. Join us at California Oaks Park from 2 PM to 9 PM for a celebration that the whole family can enjoy.
Children's Activities
The Murrieta Birthday Bash is a family-friendly event with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained throughout the day. Here are some of the highlights:
- Kids' Zone: Open from 2 PM to 8 PM, the Kids' Zone will feature an array of inflatable bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses and a train ride.
- Firefighter's Hosedown: Will take place during the day in the kids zone area. It's a lot of fun and a great way to get cooled off.
- Meet your MacKID Publishers: Your publishers will be there to say, "hello" and will have temporary tattoos and kid's games.
This year's Birthday Bash will feature a diverse lineup of local and regional performers, ensuring there's something for everyone.
- Opening band: Pettybreakers (tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers)
- Headlining band: Divas of Rock (tribute to Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, Heart, Joan Jett and more!)
Fireworks Display
The grand finale of the Murrieta Birthday Bash is the spectacular fireworks display, set to begin at 9:00 PM. The fireworks will light up the sky over California Oaks Park, providing a breathtaking end to a fantastic day. Make sure to grab a good spot early, as this is always a highlight of the celebration.
Additional Information
- Food and Drinks: A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on-site from 2 PM to 9 PM, offering a range of delicious options from gourmet burgers and tacos to sweet treats like ice cream and funnel cakes.
- Road Closure: California Oaks Road will be closed from Jackson Ave. to Lincoln Ave. from 12 pm-10pm
- Admission: Entry to the Murrieta Birthday Bash is free for all ages. Some activities, such as the bounce houses may have fees.
