The City of Menifee will salute its hometown heroes at the annual State of the City Address on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m. For the second year in a row, the event will be held at the HCN Bank Stadium at Mt. San Jacinto College (28237 La Piedra Rd.) and free to the public.

Holding the State of the City at MSJC last year was a tremendous success and provided the perfect opportunity for our residents to hear from their City leaders firsthand.

The theme for this year’s event, “Hometown of Heroes” was selected by Mayor Pro Tem Dean Deines and is intended to highlight all of the people who go out of their way to make a difference in Menifee.

“Heroes can come in many forms and from all walks of life,” said Mayor Pro Tem Deines. “From our active service members and veterans to our first responders, to the non-profits and community leaders who continue to make a difference in our city, we have many heroes to celebrate here in Menifee.”

Leading up to the State of the City Address, the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a “Taste of Menifee” event outside the stadium featuring a sampling of cuisines from local eateries in the city starting at 5 p.m. Tickets for the “Taste of Menifee” event are $75 per person and are available at www.menifeevalleychamber.com

“The Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner once again with the City of Menifee to host the annual State of the City Address,” said Board President Jason White. “The Chamber remains focused on supporting our local businesses and is looking forward to hearing the latest news and information on the City’s efforts to enhance the quality of life of our community.”
