Get ready to make unforgettable holiday memories with Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker, a spellbinding performance perfect for every member of the family. I’ve been going every year with my kids, and trust me, it’s pure magic from start to finish. The vibrant sets, dazzling costumes, and incredible dancers transport you right into Clara’s enchanting adventure.
You’ll love watching her journey from the Christmas Eve party to the fantastical Land of the Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. The Nutcracker doll coming to life, battling mice, swirling snowflakes, and the grand finale in the Kingdom of Sweets—it's like stepping into a dream filled with wonder and joy!
This year, the excitement is even higher! Mira Nadon, a former IPB student and now a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, returns as the Sugar Plum Fairy for the December 21-22 shows at Bridges Auditorium in Claremont, alongside fellow NYCB principal Peter Walker as the Cavalier. For earlier performances on December 7-8 in Claremont and December 14-15 in Riverside, social media sensation Lori Hernández will enchant the stage as the Sugar Plum Fairy, paired with Marshall Whiteley, a former American Ballet Theater star.
And let’s not forget the delightful detail that over 60 young dancers from the Inland Empire will also take the stage, adding that extra sparkle that makes this production feel wonderfully local. The kids are so proud, and you’ll find yourself cheering for every little snowflake and gingerbread character!
