Something In the Orange was born from a heartfelt journey and inspired by the beauty of sunrises and sunsets. My journey began when I uncovered my late grandfather's suede cowboy hats while clearing out his home. Determined to honor his memory, I sought a way to integrate them into my decor. Armed with a newly acquired wood burner, I ultimately discovered a newfound passion for crafting. After months of contemplation, I took a leap of faith and turned my hobby into a business. A chance encounter with felt hats at a local store fueled my determination, and I stocked up, ready to embark on this new adventure.
Drawing inspiration from my countless adventures, many of which revolve around witnessing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, I knew there was something special in the orange hues of the sky. It's this essence of nature's beauty that I strive to capture in each hat design.
With burnt orange and sage as my first two hat colors, I set out to create pieces that reflect the warmth and tranquility of those captivating moments. Something In the Orange isn't just about crafting hats; it's about preserving memories, embracing creativity, and sharing the beauty of life's simplest joys. Join me on this journey, where every hat tells a story, and every creation is infused with the magic of the orange sky.
