Description
Temecula will get a little haunted for Halloween, and families are invited to join the spooky fun.
The city's annual free Halloween Carnival returns Friday, October 29, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm., in Old Town. The event was canceled last year amid COVID-19.
Carnival games and "spooktacular" activities will take place throughout the Old Town area, with the main attractions stationed in Town Square Park (41000 Main Street). Other scary-fun activities are planned at the Temecula Valley Museum (28314 Mercedes Street), and a costume contest will happen on the front steps of City Hall, according to the city.
Carnival attendees can also trick-or-treat in Old Town: First responders at the police substation and Fire Station 12 on Mercedes Street will be handing out candy. Old Town merchants are being encouraged to pass out treats to the witches and goblins of Temecula. Visit TemeculaCA.gov/Events the week of the carnival for a list of participating businesses.
