We're half way through the summer and you want to keep your kids active and having fun without breaking the bank. As moms ourselves, we totally get this. We've put together a list of FREE things you can do with your kiddos in the Temecula-Murrieta-French Valley areas to fill those summer days when the kids are bored at home but you don't really feel like spending a small fortune to take them out for some fun for just one day 😉.
- Visit local libraries - join a summer reading program
- Walk around the Temecula Duck Pond
- Take a walk around Harveston lake.
- Walk around Old Town Temecula
- Shop local farmer’s markets (Saturday mornings in Temecula, Sunday in Murrieta)
- Hike Teneja falls

- Visit Animal Friends of the Valley and give some shelter dogs some love and attention- kids can read to the animals on Wednesday afternoons
- Play in the playground at the Promenade Mall
- Hike Temecula Creek Trail
- Hike Cole Canyon Trail
- Admire the Varieties of Roses at Rose Haven Heritage Garden

- Attend A Park Ranger Campfire event in Menifee
- Go for a walk with fellow moms and their kiddos with the Mom Walk Co. Menifee or Mom Walk Co Murrieta
